As the name suggested, a High Pass Filter is used for keeping the higher frequencies on the output signal while removing or reducing the amplitude of signals with frequencies lower. High Pass Filter can be used for removing DC from a signal with a very low cut off frequency.
To apply High Pass Filter in Dexster:
Open your audio file from the toolbar open button.
Select the waveform area from which you would like to apply for the High Pass Filter
Click on Filters menu and select High Pass
Adjust the High Pass Filter settings or select one of the available presets.
Click on Preview button to listen to the filter before apply.
